Peel the second backing off of your velcro strips to make them sticky.
How to create velcro hanging wall.
Dampen a fresh cleaning cloth with isopropyl alcohol.
Things you will need dampen the cloth or paper towels with warm water and wipe down the wall that you will be attaching the velcro to.
Create a wooden frame or cut a piece of painted plywood to size.
Remove the industrial strength velcro from its packaging and peel of the paper covering the adhesive side.
Pull your fabric taut and stick one end of it to your wall.
Press the velcro onto the wall and hold it there.
The wood hangs horizontally on the wall attached to studs with nails or screws.
Choose a sturdy wood strip at least half an inch thick and tall to avoid sagging or bowing.
If your fabric is sagging attach 1 or 2 more velcro strips in the middle of.
Sketch in these lines using a pencil.
You can also use a piece of painted plywood as your backing.
You can make a wooden frame using four thin pieces of wood cut to the desired lengths and widths and gluing or screwing them together.
Then gently rub the cloth against your wall and the mounting side of your shelf.
Write down the measurements for the velcro strips on the backdrop and use the tape measure to transfer these dimensions to the surface on which you will be hanging the backdrops.
Attach the rough side or hook side of the velcro to the wall in the places marked with the pencil.
Work along the width of the fabric and stick each velcro strip to your wall.
Doing this will help remove grease oil and wax from the surfaces making the adhesive strips easier to mount.
